Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands, a group of volcanic islands lying approximately 100km off the west coast of Morocco. Fuerteventura is the oldest of the islands, dating back to volcanic eruptions 20 million years ago. Most of the island was created about 5 million years ago with its current landscape being the result of subsequent wind and weather erosion. The last volcanic activity on Fuerteventura was 4-5000 years ago.
